Maurice Habib and his bees move with the seasons. In summer months, he takes his bee hives up to the cedars, to pollinate the forests of Tannourine and Barouk. In the winters, bees make the trip back down the mountain to lower areas... orange groves near Saida, Eucalyptus trees in Zgharta. Maurice inherited the trade from his father, and has been cultivating a love for bees and honey for over four decades. Aside from just producing honey, Maurice and his bees play a fundamental role in the Lebanese ecosystem… pollinators and protectors.
